On Wednesday, November 3rd, the Louisiana Humanities Center continued “The New Orleans Media: A Series of Panel Discussions on the Fourth Estate in the City.” The third installment, “The Economics of Newspapers,” featured Renette Dejoie Hall (Louisiana Weekly), Peter Kovacs (The Times-Picayune), and Greg LaRose (City Business) in a conversation moderated by writer Jed Horne. The next panel, “Figaro, The Vieux Carre Courier, and The Lens: Investigative Journalism Past and Present,” will be held on November 17th at 6pm.
