Sam Woodroof, Lead Public Safety Ranger
Sam Woodroof is the Lead Public Safety Ranger of the DDD's Public Safety Ranger Program. As Lead Ranger, Sam oversees the day-to-day operations of the Rangers, including training, scheduling and evaluating Rangers. Sam is certified by the International Police Mountain Bike Association as a police cyclist, is a licensed tour guide, and is certified in CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross. Prior to joining the DDD, Sam worked as a database administrator for the University of Texas and as a trainer at Tulane Medical School. Sam has a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Social Thought from Louisiana Scholar's College at Northwestern State University.
