It's Getting Around: DDD Conducting Online Mobility and Parking Survey

The Downtown Development District of New Orleans is conducting an online survey to gather information on the mobility and parking needs in and around Downtown New Orleans. Residents, business owners, locals, visitors, employees, and tourists are all asked to participate in the survey.

TechNO Bowl 2008

Feet on the Street: DDD Public Safety Rangers Enhance Pedestrian
Quality of Life

The Downtown Development District Public Safety Ranger program is fully staffed for the first time since Hurricane Katrina, with 19 rangers now patrolling Downtown six days a week. Rangers are dedicated to improving the pedestrian quality of life Downtown by providing knowledgeable and friendly service to all Downtown residents and visitors.

Come Downtown to Go 4th on the River

The 18th annual Go 4th on the River celebration will take place this Friday, July 4, in Woldenberg Park.

Festivities will begin at noon on Friday and last well into the night, featuring many different bands and shopping and dining specials along the Riverfront and Downtown. The Dueling Barges Fireworks Extravaganza will begin at 9:30 p.m. along the Mississippi River.
