| | | DDD Receives Medical Center of Louisiana-New Orleans Business Plan Review The Downtown Development District recently received the results of the review of the Adams Management business plan for the proposed Medical Center of Louisiana-New Orleans (MCLNO), which Adams delivered to the state of Louisiana in May of 2007. The DDD commissioned its own review of the plan by Health Planning Source, Inc. (HPSI) of Durham, NC in response to questions about how large the facility should be. | DDD Awarded Cigarette Litter Prevention Program Grant Keep America Beautiful has awarded the Downtown Development District of New Orleans a $1,500 grant to implement a cigarette litter prevention program in Downtown New Orleans. | Downtown Graffiti Suspects Caught
DDD detail officers from the NOPD arrested two suspects on charges of criminal mischief in connection with the rash of graffiti that showed up on several private Downtown properties in the early morning hours of May 20.
Around 12:50 a.m., a concerned Downtown stakeholder notified DDD detail officers that four white males were spray painting graffiti on the Professional Sports shop located at 926 Julia Street. Minutes later... read more
