DESCRIPTION

Champions Square, a 121,000 square foot outdoor festival venue, opened to the public on August 21, 2010 and instantly became one of the city’s most popular entertainment destinations for corporate events, festivals, and concerts. The Square played host to thousands of Saints fans prior to each home game last season and quickly became a favorite spot to get your game face on!

Champions Square closed after the last football season and is currently wrapping up Phase II of construction which will enhance the patron’s experience in the Square. Highlights of Phase II include: the creation of a permanent Grand Staircase featuring amphitheatre style seating, brick pavers in the Square and adjacent Lasalle Street, permanent restroom facilities under the Southeast ramp next to the Grand Staircase, and scenic touches including a green wall over the Lasalle Street ramps and the planting of palm trees in the Square.
