With over 11 years of marketing, public relations, economic development, government relations and event planning experience, Zoey brings a diverse depth of knowledge and best practices from working with national and regional organizations to the Downtown Development District as Director of Communications.
Prior to joining the DDD, Zoey served as the Vice President of External Affairs for GNO, Inc., the New Orleans regional economic development organization. She was charged with the management of the public relations, marketing, investor relations, special events and research departments.
Preceding her tenure with GNO, Inc., Zoey worked with the American Cancer Society as the State Government Relations Director and the American Heart Association as the State Advocacy and Communications Director. She holds a bachelor degree from Louisiana State University in Political Communications with minors in Sociology and Public Relations. Zoey is married and a proud mother of one child.
