John Roussell is the brains behind the beauty of Downtown New Orleans. As Public Space Operations Manager, John is responsible for coordinating and monitoring DDD sidewalk cleaning, landscaping, and public infrastructure projects to ensure that the DDD’s objectives are accomplished effectively and within prescribed time frames. John also works closely with contractors to ensure that all contract requirements are met satisfactorily. Maintaining the Geographic Information System (GIS) and coordinating maintenance for DDD special projects and events, such as Mardi Gras, are also part of John’s responsibilities.
John was born, raised, and educated in New Orleans. He has two daughters and is an avid sports fan.
