Jean Bragg is the owner of Jean Bragg Gallery located at 600 Julia Street. Originally located at 3901 Magazine Street, Jean opened the Downtown gallery in 2005 and it is now a cornerstone of the New Orleans Arts District, of which she is also President.
Jean has a Masters of Eduction from Georgia College and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCMI) in commercial real estate. She has written six books on Southern art and Newcomb arts & crafts. She is a Fellows member of the New Orleans Museum of Art, on the board of “Friends of the Cabildo,” a member of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the Contemporary Arts Museum, the National WWII Museum, the Walter Anderson Museum and the Ohr Museum. She also serves on the Downtown Development District’s Safety Committee, representing the New Orleans Arts District.
