At the Downtown Development District of New Orleans, we want to make sure your business is getting the attention it deserves. That's why we're encouraging all Downtown NOLA business owners to claim their "place pages" on our website, www.DowntownNOLA.com.
Eventually, every business in Downtown NOLA will have a place page, which includes the business's description, address, phone number, website and social media handles. Once you claim your business's place page, you will be given the authority to edit the page, which means that you'll be able to keep your listing's information fresh and accurate. You'll also be able to publish your business's upcoming events, which will be shown on DowntownNOLA.com's "events" page.
All place pages are viewable on our DowntownNOLA iPhone application, so even those "on the go" will be able to access your business's place page.
Lastly, and most importantly, claiming your place page is absolutely free! So, read the directions below to learn how you can get started:
- Go to www.downtownnola.com
- Scroll to the bottom of the website page and click "Login to your account"
- If you are not yet registered on the site, click "register for an account" and create a username and password; this will be your login to make edits to your place page.
- Once registered, you will receive a verification email. Click the link provided in the email to verify the account
- Log in to your account at www.downtownnola.com (located at the bottom of the page)
- Type your business name in the search box (located at top right corner)
- Once you have located your business, click "Claim this page to edit" (located at right, underneath image and map)
- An email will be sent to the DDD staff and you will be given edit rights to your place page once approved
